I hear you, anon. I think in general Marvel (not just Netflix Marvel) does a piss poor job of writing these female sidekicks that are supposedly supercompetent but come off as without personalities. It's like every hero must be paired with a love interest that is indistinguishable in personality from any other one. The big exceptions are Luke Cage and Jessica Jones, I think by virtue of having just more female characters to begin with.
