We have a theory in our house that the "cheating" controversy alluded to in the episode one 'This Season on Project Runway' preview is going to involve these two. Every episode up to this point has had heaps of focus on them constantly helping one another, accompanied by the other designers demonstrating increased frustration in their 'talk to the camera' sections. We assume it's going to boil over with one of them absolutely saving the other's ass at the last minute and another designer on the chopping block speaking up to say "how is it fair for me to get sent home when Shawn/Claire didn't even MAKE half of that garment?"

Cue drama!

Alternatively, Tim is going to speak out. This is supported by the preview for the very next episode, where we were once again shown the twins assisting each other, and a subsequent shot of Tim telling the judges he had something he needed to say followed by various shocked judge expressions. :O!!!!

So hey, OP, hopefully your wish will soon come true - perhaps even this very week!! I suspect the two have been given an unflattering edit, as is so often the case with reality TV villains.... but it's also very hard to imagine how you could have been much kinder, given what we *have* seen. You don't joke about being incestuous with your twin on television unless you're going for a certain kind of give-me-attention-at-all-costs.

I'm very sure it will involve these two and their "We can't work on our own so none of my garments was actually made by myself" - I'm almost thinking it will be next episode or the one after as well because even with the showrunners' obsession of "must keep the drama going for as long as possible", they are running out of excuses to send other designers home instead of one of the twins.

I am always sceptical when there are always one or two people portrayed as the "villains" of a reality show because I always assume at least half of that is edits and scripted drama. Those two apparently already won some other reality show somewhere, so they are probably at least to some extent hyper aware of what they're doing. I'm guessing it's a mix of playing the whole thing up for attention and drama and them honestly being that way, though. Not like those things contradict each other - if someone's thirsty for attention, all bets are off when it comes to cringey behaviour in front of the cameras. Those people aren't necessarily doing themselves any favours, but for some people, all attention is good attention, even the negative kind.
