I went swimming today and now can't hear out of my right ear at all and everything tastes of chlorine. On the plus side I can now dive like a motherfucker.

Ugh, sounds like you have water trapped in there and I hate it when that happens! After it drains out, you might want to try some ear wax softening drops and flush out your ear canal with warm water to clear the blockage.

Thank you for the advice! When I first started learning a few weeks ago I was so concerned with keeping water out of my eyes that I didn't realise getting it in your ears/straight up your nose is way more irritating. Ugh.

Wear a swim cap that covers the ears. I swim every day and swimmers are really prone to ear infections. A cap will protect you and also keep your hair dry and stop it from getting damaged by the chlorine.
