This is for good reason since the character is a nicer version of the actor himself (not saying much, they're both asses); Pierce Hawthorn

I don't love him but I find Chevy Chase's delivery and physical comedy so funny :(

Ross Gellar from Friends; love his physical comedy omfg, so classic. Seeing stuff like that makes me wish the Oscars weren't seemingly only reserved for the more serious and dramatic roles. Not that the Oscars mean anything, but still

Oscars? I can't quite figure out what you mean by this because the Emmys and Golden Globes both have comedy categories and the Oscars are for movies, not television. David Schwimmer was nominated for an Emmy as Ross Gellar.
