(Anonymous) 2017-09-27 12:56 am (UTC)(link)I'm pro-breastfeeding, but heard that when you account for things like socioeconomic differences, the benefits tend to disappear (i.e. parents with more money, education, and so on are more likely to breastfeed, so which of those things is actually causing the benefit?) We will gather a large group of newborns of different genders, living in different places, and born to parents with a wide range of backgrounds and income levels and a random half will be assigned to breastfeed and the other half assigned to use formula. We can probably keep everyone in check with a urine sample or something.
