137. Creepy misogynist reason for hating NaruHina is creepy and misogynist. "Large breasted consolation prize"?

Edited to add that I realize that the OP might be being sarcastic (although considering I've seen a lot of NaruSaku fanboys express this POV without irony, I'm not too sure), but I still dislike the point of view that thinks of pairings as a guy "getting" the girl. I mean.."if Sasuke gets Sakura"? If anyone's doing the getting there, it's Sakura.

I think the OP was saying she dislikes it because "large breasted consolation prize" is the manga's attitude towards Hina.

That might be at least partly the case, although the "if Sasuke gets Sakura" thing still makes me kind of twitch.

I admit I'm kind of oversensitive to this sort of thing, because I used to participate in a lot of pairing debates in Naruto fandom, and the attitude that Sakura and Hinata were alternate prize possibilities for Naruto rather than characters in their own right was incredibly prevalent in the NaruSaku and NaruHina fandoms (which is part of the reason I tended not to describe myself as a NaruHina fan even though I thought the pairing was cute in principle).

OH GOD! I didn't mean to come across like that at all! Sakura and Hinata are my favorite characters but I hate hate HATE when she ends up with Naruto because usually I see it as Hinata reduced to nothing more as a common housewife and ARG. She's more than a pair of breasts! No really. I referred to Sasuke getting Sakura because thats usually the sort of Sasuke/Sakura fanfiction where Nar/Hin gets thrown in just so you don't feel bad for Naruto. Sorry I wasn't clear!

Sorry for misinterpreting you, then! I've clearly been brain-damaged by spending too much time in the parts of Naruto fandom where people would say things like that and really mean them. Ugh, fanboys. :/
