102.- Nowadays in Japan "Boys love" is an umbrella term that includes all those you´ve mentioned. Nobody uses shonen ai anymore

121.- I know! That documentary is depressing. Real host life is so sordid. But at least in Ouran the girls don´t pay for the hosts´company and they are not prostitutes.

Oh, shounen ai is still in use. Only, nowadays it means "shota porn mostly aimed at guys."

(I learned this the hard way when I downloaded a book titled "The Aesthetics of Shounen Ai" thinking it was an anthology of classic manga... and, well, it was an anthology of explicit shota porn.)

Yes and that's why I used a picture from Kaze to ki no uta since it's an old term. As said on the page you linked, "shounen-ai is used only to point to shoujo manga written in the 70's and early 80's by authors such as Hagio Moto, Takemiya Keiko, etc."
