Oh goodness, I never wanted to set myself up as some kind of judge for characterization. A huge proportion of KH fanfic is appalling all around and it's like people have never even played the game, much less paid attention to the characters. That's the way it is in any big fandom; look at Harry Potter. But when people think about it and create a thoughtful characterization of Axel, no matter how they turn out, who am I to say what's better? I can only make my arguments and discuss and agree to disagree about some things. But I don't think people need my approval at all.

Not that I'm not extremely flattered that you like the way I do him. ^_^;;

lol Serious? I just really admire the way you write Axel, and I don't latch onto writers like that often. I'm picky about characterization and whatnot, so it's hard for me to find a person where I can go "THERE. THAT'S HIM" without adding a disclaimer. ("That's Riku! Except for the bit where he's an utter whore" sort of thing.) You nail him, which is something I'd like to do one day. ^^; You're just my Axel-author-envy, I guess. XD Think of it as being a role model. :D

Okay, I couldn't help myself.

I'm really very flattered. *_* And if you ever want a beta or a second opinion on something, or just a review of a completed work, seriously just leave a comment in my LJ and say hey, could you give this a read-through? I'm not harsh, and that's the best way to get me to read a fanfic since I don't really pay attention to what's being written in the fandom at any given time.
