Re: What frustrates you about people "on your side"?

I hate how quickly we tend to turn on each other, and how petty and insignificant the "offenses" often are that are touted as reasons for turning on each other. I've said this before, but every time a celebrity (especially a female celebrity) is put on a pedestal and praised like a god/dess for supposedly being a shining example of how to do social justice right, you just KNOW that it's only a matter of time before they say or do something that doesn't meet the rigorous standards of Wokeness set by their armchair activist fanbase, and just like that, they are and always have been scum. "We've been tellin' all y'all fake-ass bitches for years that (celebrity) was trash and y'all are stupid for stanning over them, now please disregard all my previous blog posts where I've gushed about what a flawless god/dess they are and said 'YAAASS SLAY' to everything they've ever said and done before."

Like, I just recently saw a post on Tumblr (naturally) calling Ellen Degeneres a literal sociopath because she wanted to end seal slaughter even though many First Nations people depend on seal meat to survive. Should Ellen have done a little research on the issue before making that statement? Probably, but good grief, the way some of these people go on, you'd think they'd never said anything ignorant or insensitive in their entire lives. Nope, they were 100% Woke from the day they were born and anyone who doesn't match up to their inherent superiority is automatically and eternally a worthless piece of trash and probably also a pedophile. There is no in-between.

It's just crazy. Don't progressives have enough problems to deal with right now without turning on each other over comparatively minor issues?
