Movie Club! Nominations

It is time for Movie Club nominations!

Theme: For the second half of October, we will be doing horror movies made in or after 1990. Any kind of horror (comedy, supernatural, slasher, psychological) welcome.

Rules (subject to change):
-One nomination per person.
-Must be streaming on Netflix, Amazon, or Hulu. Check JustWatch to see if your nomination is streaming.
-First 15 nominations will be chosen for voting.

Nominations will be open Monday-Wednesday. Voting will be on Thursday-Friday. The winner will be announced officially on Monday*. We will discuss the movie October 28th-29th.

*I will close the poll on Friday (or early Saturday) so you can check the results if you want to see the winner before Monday.

So just to be clear, last time we did pre-1990 and this time we're doing post-1990? Just making sure I'm understanding this correctly

Yes. Nobody nominated anything from 1990 last time so I left that open instead of saying 1991 and older. :P

I would like to nominate the 2002 live-action Scooby-Doo movie. It's on Netflix. This is a serious nomination.

Sadly, I don't think this counts as horror. I've looked at IMDB, Wikipedia, Metacritic, The Scoobypedia, and Rottentomatoes. It is an Action-Comedy Family movie.

I'd recommend specifying adaptations of medias "that aren't most famous as the movie" to that, so we don't get recs like The Godfather or Streetcar Named Desire which were based off books and plays but where the movie is 1000x more famous and known

That is a good theme though
