132 - Light was an ass. I didn't like him at all after L died. What would have made for an even more complex (or better, IMO) story was to have Light *not* remember he was Kira(sp?), discover that he was, and feel some fucking remorse about it and deal with the fallout of him having done what he had did. Either way, I was glad when he finally bit it. I love anti-heroes and all (Punisher comes to mind), and occasionally I love a good villain (Two-Face, who does bad shit but his backstory breaks my fucking heart), but he was simply unredeemable in the end for me (like the Joker, who needs a bullet in the ass STAT). But, oh well... I'm not the author.

151 - I agree. I wish they really existed, cause I would have had R. Kelly "Step in the Name of Love" right in front of a big rig on the fucking expressway last week. Make it rain indeed. *still bitter about the ruling*

Oh, I get that Light isn't for everyone, and I think he totally deserved what he got. He was a murderous, megalomaniacal, egocentric, psychopathic serial killer. But I found that really interesting, especially given that he has no tragic past--he's just fucking nuts. And his end just broke my heart, for some reason. More than a character like Two-Face ever has, honestly. Kind of makes me wonder about myself. o_O

LOL... don't worry, I've questioned my own sanity for liking some of the characters I like.

I mean, I fangirl for Lobo, who killed an entire planet of his people just to be able to brag about being the last one left. Hell, he even killed all of his illegitimate children too. Crack character, I know... but I was rooting for him to kill Superman at one point. O_o

On one hand, I think he deserved it too. On the other, I don't believe ANYONE deserves THAT.
