Well, Fantastic Beasts could have had Colin Farrel OR anyone for Grindenwald. Instead, they chose Johnny Depp. He was only on screen for like a minute but I am already disappointed.

+1. Colin Farrell was so fabulous. Johnny Depp was so not. I think Grindelwald should go on wearing the Colin Farrell face.

I think I said this here before but that kid was only in the movie because he was George Lucas' kid's friend.

Full honesty here, I don't get the hate for the kid. He's not a good child actor, but he was cute and likable enough, imo, which is mostly what I expect from child actors. Yes, there are better ones out there, but I don't think the kid who played Anakin was noticeably terrible. He was just an awkward kid.

I can get the hate for grown up Anakin, the acting was sub-par on a cringey scrip. But kid Anakin? Meh.

+1 Script didn't do either Anakin(or any of the other actors with maybe the exception of Ian McDarmid)any favors either.

I didn't find him cute or likable. He had a beady-eyed sneer and came off like a little brat in general. Just my opinion though.
