I do think it's worth remarking (even at the same time as I'm a committed femslash shipper) how much more barren the ground is for femslash ships compared to slash ships. It really drives home the disparity in gender roles in media. I mean, the reality is that in most shows and movies and stuff, there's basically only one, or at most 2 or 3, possible femslash ships, just because of how few female characters there are and how rarely they interact.

So, uh, I definitely sympathize. But at the same time, gosh, femslash is just the best.
