(Anonymous) 2017-10-15 10:20 pm (UTC)(link)I think it's really a stretch to say that Majima's whole deal is remotely close enough to "trans or genderqueer woman" or genderfluid to count as an example. I mean, you could have chosen a picture of the Pleasure "King" from Yakuza 0, someone who's actually an example of what you're talking about. But Majima is very intentionally putting on a Creepy Crazy Wacky Threatening persona, and all his disguises and shit are part of that. Listing him as an example of this is about as sensible as using a screenshot of Officer Majima when talking about cops in the series - there are characters who this completely unambiguously applies to, so you're weakening your argument (which I absolutely agree with, no bones about it) by using a picture of him instead.
