As an Eastern...Asian...sort of person, I feel it somewhat too. I think sometimes it is just people reacting to EVERYTHING online that way, but sometimes I get this feeling that it rings...false? I do wonder if that's like, my own sense of feeling inferior (I don't feel we're as pretty why are you saying so, etc), but, I don't know. It's also strange that Hollywood's small selection of Eastern Asian people have very different beauty standards than the people in actual Asia.

This is why I think it's still better, in this current day at least, to not act like we're race blind. Not saying it should be the central of any conversation most of the time, but there's still too much to address and sometimes, just pointing it out is good.
