I don't know about AYRT, but for my part I find Aurora beautiful in a way her nearest equivalent, Cinderella, didn't feel for me, and very dignified in her mannerisms.

But I will honestly say the movies is not really Aurora's movie, as the most central characters in it are the three fairies. Aurora does not have all that much characterisation, and what she does have is far older than her supposed sixteen years of age, as is her voice acting, quite frankly.

Maybe one of the appeals of Aurora is that she is a mostly blank slate - pretty but with not much characterisation.
