Do Chemistry at Uni. It will open up all the doors that will be closed to you later on.

Also there's a recession coming and better money in Chemistry.

Try out different jobs for a bit, get some experience so you don't end up being really proficient in only one area. Getting a second job after quitting my first of four years was so difficult because I had zero experience in anything else.

Quit the shitty job you hate, get rid of whatever you can't fit in your bag, and go find seasonal work outdoors where you can breathe and spend time with people you actually have things in common with.

I got so fixated on what I "should" be doing that I completely ignored what I really wanted to be doing.

I think this is really good advice. It kind of ties into another piece of advice I'd heard before, which was along the lines of "no one ever dies wishing they'd spent more time working at the office."

Stop listening to assholes, especially if they don't know what they're doing and have zero wisdom due to their own lack of a career path.

Not that I would be smart enough to heed such advice, but hey...

Go to college. Look into forensic accounting.

Yes. High school me, you know that dream of joining the FBI that you gave up on? They hire more forensic accountants than field agents.

To play up my freakouts and panic attacks more. Maybe I'd get a pension earlier.
