Ridiculously Purple Prose

[personal profile] analise 2017-10-18 02:06 am (UTC)(link)
Had to share this somewhere.

So I was dreaming about RP last night and in it I dreamed that someone I've got a thread going with started their tag like so: "The buttery chalice of her skin..." and in my dream I was like WHAT THE HELL WHO TAGS LIKE THAT HOW DO THEY THINK I CAN EVEN RESPOND TO THAT??? And then I woke up and I was still like, "....wtf?" And yes, apparently in dreamworld someone's skin can be a buttery chalice.

Anyway.

Have you ever run into some crazy purple prose that you just can't do anything with? RP? Fan-works? Actual canon? Hit me.

No, but I've experienced weird dream logic.

I know I have, but "the buttery chalice of her skin" just killed me, so I can think of nothing else lol

There's a chalkboard wall at my college for students to write and draw on and some dip wrote a terrible poem about a sexy lady whose thighs were supple like ripe pears. Which doesn't even make SENSE.
