I don't think that there's anything wrong with not having f/f ships. I mean, it's just shipping. So I'm not sure what I'm really insinuating there, to be honest.

What do you think is the real reason why people who claim to be interested in f/f ships don't actually have that many?

I don't really know. I don't think there's one specific answer. If I had to say what I thought was the most likely reason, I would say it was because something about the dynamics of shipping and fic didn't work with f/f relationships for them. Because fic and shipping is a really specific thing, I think.
