I might get jumped on for this, but I swear to god, I'm not being reproachful here, I'm 100% "you do you" on this. What your secret made me wonder is, maybe you...like the "male gaze"? Or, to make it a little more complex than that...maybe you like either the "male gaze" (which I've been led to believe is present in so much of f/f porn) and/or you like the female rendering of the "male gaze" which is present in so much m/f and m/m fanfic.

And by "female rendering of the male gaze" I actually don't mean anything terribly controversial (I don't think). I just mean that in so much of fanfic, women are writing men in the act of watching/observing/imagining/looking upon and desiring either women (m/f) or other men (m/m). So maybe it's more accurate (and less provocative) to say, perhaps when it comes to sexy stuff you enjoy the inclusion of a male gaze (which can include, but is far from limited to, The Male Gaze).

DA, Hi, i kind of see what you mean, when i read tne secret i interpreted it to say she doesn't like the male gaze and isn't into a lot of f/f media because a lot of mainstream f/f stuff has been written by men.

Semi on topic, I've found lesbian fanfiction written by women but it's normally short story-type works or pwp and I'm normally looking for slowburn or longfic. Man I would pay for longfic. Ive purchased and read novels about same sex relationships between bi/lesbian women and also lesbian fiction and have enjoyed them, but they don't have fandoms exactly, so I never have the fandom experience of talking with friends and sharing fanfiction and AU scenarios for our OTPs outside of maybe OCs with one friend that we make for our own original fics we write and ask each other to beta lol. Maybe OP is in a similar situation where she just doesn't have friends that want to talk femslash with her or maybe their femslash ships are not as interesting to her because their dynamics are not her thing. Sometimes i wish OPs were more detailed with their secrets (TTwTT)
