Yeah, it's fiction. But it doesn't make it any less wrong or sick.

Actually, some people write non-con/rape to deal with having been raped. Or for some, to deal with the thoughts of either raping or being raped.

I don't get doing it because "OMG SEXY/HOT" (because... wtf?), but... it's an issue, just like murder and any physical or psychological abuse. What are your thoughts on writing/reading it when it's used as any other plot point would be, for the purpose of showing how all the different characters (victim, people who care about the victim, people who care about the rapist, occasionally even the rapist) deal with and react to it? (I'm not trying to jump on you here, I'm just honestly curious.)

Oh, plot is fine, if it actually being used to further something story arc wise, that's okay. But when it's a PWP thing, I think it is wrong. It's a very sensitive thing.
