Yep 38:) I have gone to Harry Potter cons. I have been collecting comics since I was 17 back in the 80s. (I was for a long time the only girl that would make the terk to the comic store I went to.)

I have been a Star Wars geek since the first movie came out in 1977 when I was 7 years old. I have been watching and reading Doctor Who since the early 80s. So no stopping me.

I just hope people realize that you can stay in fandom your whole life and you can be one no matter what the age. I still want to go to Comic Con some year maybe one day when my horde are teens.

Fandom is a huge part of my life. I love being online, having my LJ, and meeting fans of all ages.

I am also known as the "cool mom" at the PTA meetings cause I wear converse and my tees are always unique. (I am wearing a black and white Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends tee today.) I am not a run of the mill soccer mom. :D Though my horde does play soccer.
