Because I can differentiate between real and pretend. See, stories on the internet? That's pretend. It's not real. No actual people were folded, spindled, or mutilated. And if I choose to roleplay a non-consensual situation with my husband? Again, I'm pretending.

Now, what happens when you and I and everyone else steps away from the monitor (which I'm assuming happens at least once a day? Right? Please say you step away once in awhile). That is real. People in real life experience negative things and those things are not to be made light of. Which is why fics that glorify non-consensual sex are called non-con fics and not rape fics. Because nothing is like rape (except, of course, canola), including fictional rape.

And sweetie? I will indeed die and you will too and this is still the mother-fucking internet. Grow the hell up and stop wanking all over those of us who choose not to feel bad about our kinks. You are why we can not have nice things.
