This argument is always so funny. "Well, they're not hurting anyone!" But does that mean they won't? No. And how would you know they aren't?

People seem to use "this is only fantasy" as a justification for the disgusting things they would like to do or would like to see happen to others.

Says a dictionary definition of the term "fantasy": An imagined sequence of events or mental images (eg, daydreams) that serves to express unconscious conflicts, to gratify unconscious wishes, or to prepare for anticipated future events.

In many cases, that's just not true.

Your average classical rape fantasy involves having someone you personally find attractive do things to you that you really want to have done to you, despite token protestations. Rape fantasy roleplay is always heavily scripted and involves strictly agreed upon limits and safewords.

It's a fantasy about not having to negotiate and disclose, not a fantasy about being brutalised.
