I understand the Death Note fandom (and not surprising since there are two major female characters, one is not easy to like and the other shows up late in the game and the other three are minor characters). But the HP fandom? If anything, I hear far more wank on their hetero pairings than anything else from there...

But that's something you can't help. You can't expect people to like the same stuff as you do and it's up to you make stuff instead complaining about it.

Obviously I can't expect people to conform to my preferences, nor do I. Like the OP mentioned: slash away, it's not my business, the internet is a free domain, blah blah blah. I know that what I'm saying isn't going change anyone's mind and I don't want to "help" anything. I'm just voicing my opinion.

And I'm actually a pretty prolific fic writer.
