Ohhhh man, this means we have too much in common! XDD Yes, I've been into HYD years ago, but gave up on it after a while -- I mean, it was too depressing knowing who she'd end up with, and I'm stubborn with my pairings.

I think we are sharing a brain, perhaps. *laughs* I read HYD for the first time ages and ages ago. And I've seen both dramas all the way through. It's a pretty rough ride, as far as crazy-long shoujo series go. I'm the type to not ship, or if I do, I tend to just go with canon out of a sense of defeatism (lol), so it wasn't really depressing to me? But that's seriously out of laziness on my part, not strong conviction. I really liked Rui (especially in the drama, incidentally, his actor also plays Sano in the Hanakimi drama!). I did like the ending to the manga though? :x

I hardly ever comment here, but it's practically a part of my daily routine to come to F!S and check all the comments. :3

We're braintwins for sure! x3; Back when I was into it, the only format of the fandom that was accessible to me was the anime -- as for the dramas, I remember a friend trying to introduce me to them, but it only confused the heck out of me ("They named a drama based on the series Meteor Garden? WHAT, WHY? THE F4 MEMBERS ARE ACTUALLY IN A BAND CALLED THE F4? THIS MAKES NO SENSE TO ME. *LEAVES*" 8'|) Oh my, carrying a sense of defeatism might actually be the smarter way to go -- I tend to be overbearingly passionate about.. well, everything. And Rui is very much love! The actors that have portrayed him have always been cute, imo.

.. gotta check out the Hana Kimi drama someday.

Oh boy, the Taiwanese drama? I think that's Meteor Garden, yeah? I haven't seen that... I actually meant I'd seen both seasons of the Japanese drama (bad wording on my part). I was too confused by the other one to stick with it. ^^;

As for shipping, well. It's hard to maintain a sense of ambivalence all the time. Ehehe. :x And yes, check out Hanakimi drama! It's really good~ I love Hanakimi. :3
