No, that's right. It's just that it doesn't have much to do with literature and sociatal norms. Basically, the discussion is about rape porn.

I'd think and hope most of society would view rape with a distasteful eye, and I'd also think that fictional rape, whether it be ravishment fantasies or what have you, would fall under that. Rape fantasies/lit are not limited to merely fanfiction, after all. Rape itself is wrong without exception - rape fantasies are more of a gray area. And if a writer is good enough to write such a story that questions and challenges what people think about it--I don't know, I just like people thinking and questioning things for themselves.

Maybe it's just that I tend to be one of those hopelessly optimistic people who likes to think that most writers would try to work in the psychological and mental aspects of such an act, rather than just the sexual part. Apparently I was wrong, and I apologize for wasting your and the OP's time.
