I love Finn but his fans (if you can even call them fans) appear to be, with stiff competition, some of the wankiest idiots in SW fandom.

+1. I lasted in Star Wars fandom all through the (terrible) prequels but now I just quietly read fic and leave polite anon comments on it. The fans are just awful - if you don't write Finn you're terrible! If you write him you're doing it wrong and you're terrible! It's not just the Finn fans but since Finn is my favourite that's who I keep running into.
