Not in the distant past or anything, but Christopher Lee had a fascinating life that would make for a great movie.

I'd like a decent budget Boudica movie. As far as I know, there has only been the tv film with Alex Kingston.

I would have said Thurgood Marshall, but there is a movie out right now.

I'd like a movie about Lenin or Marx or someone like that which shows all sides of things rather than just being made for the sole purpose of being inflamatory.

I remember seeing a miniseries on PBS that portrayed Lenin pretty even-handedly and he was played by Patrick Stewart!

He played him in the TV series Fall of Eagles! I have to say that if Lenin was half as forceful as PS, the Revolution was inevitable.

Jackie Mitchell, a.k.a the 17-year-old girl who struck out Babe Ruth. Then Ruth threw a temper tantrum, got Jackie's contract voided after telling the press that women are "too delicate for baseball". Then the MLB officially banned all women from the game.

Bisexual swordmaster, opera singer, and heartbreaker. Accomplishments include humiliating dudes in duels, briefly becoming a nun in order to fuck a nun, getting in trouble for kissing ladies at fancy balls, marrying rich lords, getting banished, and oh, also singing opera.

I may be in the early early days of planning a graphic novel of her story. I am half-convinced someone'll beat me to it though because she is starting to show up in tumblr pop culture awareness and is such an amazing story.....
