Not in the distant past or anything, but Christopher Lee had a fascinating life that would make for a great movie.

I'd like a decent budget Boudica movie. As far as I know, there has only been the tv film with Alex Kingston.

I would have said Thurgood Marshall, but there is a movie out right now.

I'd like a movie about Lenin or Marx or someone like that which shows all sides of things rather than just being made for the sole purpose of being inflamatory.

I went to go get some dress shoes today. I hate that one of my feet are like...half a size smaller than the other. It isn't so bad with tennis shoes but dress shoes are a whole different story.

The fact that I never know how I'm going to react to caffeine because sometimes my migraine med makes the caffeine effects worse. Then I get shaky and have a headache. But other times I'm fine. And there are just times when I need caffeine, like today when I had to be a perky attorney at a bar association meeting on 2 hours of sleep and then do 2 hours of Spanish class. But I'm paying for it because I'm still wired hours later and my head is pounding.

Also the same migraine med, which I started a few months ago, causes weight gain and hunger. So now I'm having to fight against that effect, and I'm trying to lose weight, but has been impossible so far. I've cut back on what I'm eating even when I feel hungry, but it isn't doing anything.

And sadly, there are no better options. The one I switched from to this one actually can cause weight loss. But it caused my birth control shot to stop working, leading to a month long period with agonizing pain to the point I couldn't function. So that's simply not doable.

Slowly weaning myself away from tumblr

So lately I'm starting to think about tumblr a little less and thinking about what I can do on other sites. I'm starting to feel glad I have an excuse making me quit tumblr now. Hopefully soon all the bullcrap will just be a memory.

Keeping my mind busy on other things helps. :D

I was just using my mom’s old iron that doesn’t have an auto shutoff/cooldown, with steam, to iron a Halloween costume. I left it for a couple minutes, tipped it over, and fucking boiling water erupted out of the fill hole all over my hand. I have to work a kids’ carnival tomorrow and none of my costume options would work with gloves, bandages, or burns. Sigh. At least it’s not my dominant hand, but ow ow ow.

Basically, at this point, my takeaway from any social interaction is "this person doesn't want to ever see me or talk to me again". Like, almost literally, regardless of how positive the person is. I don't care for it.
