Have you internalized a lot of stupid bullshit some people told you when you were growing up? You've got to punch that voice in the face every time it starts.

Yeah, some people will be into you, and some people won't. The most you can do is ask them if they want to hang out/invite them to do something. People who aren't interested won't bite, and you don't have to concern yourself with them from that point on.

I know, easier said than done.
