Slowly weaning myself away from tumblr

So lately I'm starting to think about tumblr a little less and thinking about what I can do on other sites. I'm starting to feel glad I have an excuse making me quit tumblr now. Hopefully soon all the bullcrap will just be a memory.

Keeping my mind busy on other things helps. :D

I'd love to be one of those people who got an engaging, enjoyable job and life and used tumblr like twice a week but , alas.

I was like checking tumblr all the time before I had to stop tbh. It took making side accounts and getting them nixed before I had to just give up. I'd probably still be hooked on it if it weren't for this.

other sites for fandom stuff?

I'd love to get more into discussing things but tumblr is so awkward and also the only place where my fandom is... I don't know how people talk to each other on there.

well, maybe I'm just half tuned in to fandom but...I do surprisingly well on discord servers and occasionally reddit. (reddit is often where i go to find discord servers) and sometimes deviantart to scope out art resources). But yeah people bag on reddit and I get why but it can be good for finding fandom communities elsewhere.

I find that squeeing over fandom things with a close group of friends tends to be more rewarding for me than places like tumblr anyway.
