And their relationship would still be messed even if they weren't fucking each other, the sex is just an action it's the thoughts and social dynamics that are the real problem.

What exactly do you mean by this? That if they weren't fucking but they wanted to it'd be just as messed up as if they actually were? And what do you mean by social dynamics? (Sorry if I'm missing something obvious, it's been a really long day.)

I mean it's just like any other fucked up relationship. Sex on it's own isn't the problem. The problem is co-dependency, or negative self-worth, or abuse, or coercion, whatever. And social dynamics, I mean like screwed up dynamics between the two people, but also how it would fuck up their interactions with other people.
