Bladerunner. I've watched it three times now. Two different versions. I just don't get what people like about it other than visuals. But the awesome visuals do not outweigh the slow as fuck, sometimes nonsensical plot with meh acting to me.

this, and I don't even like some of the visuals. Dark City was a MUCH better movie.

Yes! I saw it for the first time last week. I wasn't sure what else I should have been getting out of it, but whatever it was, it wasn't there. There was no spark for me. Except a little in Daryl Hannah's scenes.

Count me in on this as well. Visually, yes, it was exceptional, especially for its time. But that's about it.
