Funny you say that, as I felt something like the opposite-- that even more than NBC, Corpse Bride was built around a few big scenes (the resurrection of Emily, the "Remains of the Day" number) and the script was just sort of hashed together to get you from one to the other (that the original folk tale Corpse Bride is based on is about a paragraph long doesn't help).

Then again, scripts have never, ever been Burton's strong point.
