I'm pretty sure he's talking about gay men, and I think he's specifically trying to make sure the discussions of consent and appropriate sexual advances that people are having because of Weinstein et al don't get uncritically applied to accounts of interaction between gay men.

I can see what he means in theory (though I dunno about how super advanced gay men's sexuality is) but I think he's being a little hasty. Right now the victim everyone's talking about is literally a child.

I don't see why it matters? He says "Gay men touch each other and sexually interact with each other in ways that would terrify straight men and women" and he seems to have an entire internet presences dedicated fighting "the imperialism of straight culture". I'm not interested, but if I were I could connect the dots.
