The Phryne/Jack will-they-or-won't-they is one of the main reasons I lost all interest in the show. I feel that it makes Phryne going against Jack's wishes in her investigations less of a 'I respect you, but this is what I feel is right' and more of a 'tee-hee, I'm so naughty', which is just... ugh.
Also, I miss Ruth, and they replaced the communist lesbian Eliza with the Dead Little Sister Janey. :C

Trading communist lesbian Eliza for Dead Little Sister Janey was one of the decisions I don't like about the show. I feel like it was done to give Phryne a more angsty past... you know, more angsty than going through a world war.
