(Anonymous) 2017-10-31 11:17 pm (UTC)(link)

[ ] no significant other
[ ] childish interests
[ ] regularly argue on the internet
[ ] haven’t changed your underwear in the past two days

I gotta be honest, I don't think this is a good approach to anything

How so?

Re: How much of a manchild are you?

(Anonymous) 2017-10-31 11:26 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, it's intrinsically dickish and it's a binary approach to something that isn't really binary

DA

Yep. Some of the biggest manchildren I know are 50 year old middle managers that live with a wife and two kids who think their hobbies are culturally enlightened, are too internet-stupid to use social media, and who I hope change their underwear for work every day.

Dude, it’s a short quiz that I made up because I’m guilty of most the above and wanted to see how many other people relate.

What's wrong with not having a significant other?

Re: How much of a manchild are you?

(Anonymous) 2017-10-31 11:22 pm (UTC)(link)
There’s nothing wrong with not having a SO but it’s a trait assiociated with manchildren, which is what the original post is asking.

more bullshit. people who don't happen to be in relationships can be that way due to all kinds of circumstances, not just immaturity.

That's what I'm wondering. Being single is the best thing ever as far as I'm concerned.

Getting married implies you are living independently of your parents and are at least partially responsible for another human being's welfare and that someone judges you worthy of that commitment, which I infer denotes maturity, in this context.

Re: How much of a manchild are you?

(Anonymous) 2017-10-31 11:31 pm (UTC)(link)
Same. Can I be a manchild if I'm a woman? Am I a womanchild? Who decides my interests are childish? Does the last one count if I never wear underwear, thereby making it technically true that I haven't changed it just by default?

Re: How much of a manchild are you?

(Anonymous) 2017-10-31 11:33 pm (UTC)(link)
Do you not wear underwear or?

Re: How much of a manchild are you?

(Anonymous) 2017-10-31 11:36 pm (UTC)(link)
Wait, do you actually never wear underwear?

I'm fascinated to hear more about this lifestyle choice

I'm probably fine.

Re: How much of a manchild are you?

(Anonymous) 2017-10-31 11:31 pm (UTC)(link)
I suppose some of my interests would be considered childish to some, but otherwise I meet none of those qualifications.

Same. I live with parents because of the housing costs, but that's it.
