Anyone doing it this year? I never seem to get anywhere when I try and use it as a novel-jump-point, but I am thinking that maybe instead I'll do a daily 1667 word one-shot. Tumblr has a fuckton of prompt blogs and I've already found some cute/awesome prompts.

And at least this way maybe one of them will be expandable/give me an idea for something full length without the stress that NaNo gives me.

Example: I'm usually a little bit drunk when I post here. Sometimes that means I start topics just to stir up shit. Other times, I just try to think of something to post in that one inevitable secret thread that no one else is posting in.
