I had a more depressing take, that the movie was about never aspire toward a career or lifestyle change because it will not work out so fuck you and your disappointing, underwhelming life you're stuck with it no matter what

I watched a POC Against Cultural Appropriation facebook group set up a harassment campaign against a friend-of-a-friend for wanting to host a Halloween Anime Night, so... Yeah. It was the most WTF thing I ever saw.

Yeah, you gotta take that shit with a grain of salt. PETA exists and thinks that your pet kitty is a slave to the Man. That doesn't mean that everyone who thinks you shouldn't declaw your cat is a PETA member.

Animal rights IS PETA and their ilk, AKA animals have superior legal rights over humans.

Animal welfare is groups like the Humane society, that promote animal well-being.

But people confuse the two a lot and mean welfare when they say rights, so I would ask for clarification.
