I don't suppose I'm a Moffat hater. I can see some tropes in his work that disappoint me, like other television creators. I'd say he's not as ridiculous as J.J. Abrams, and not quite as sharp overall as Joss Whedon. Wait, am I allowed to not insult Joss Whedon? OK, not as sharp as D.C. Fontana, although that's comparing apple turnover to muskmelons.
