They're not for everyone.

I like them because it's a way to share someone's excitement to things! Same with playthroughs and stuff like that. But I can get where someone wouldn't like them. Maybe voice this to your friends and say you want to just watch things with them.

Some things just don't need a damn reaction video. It helps if the people reacting are funny and charismatic, but often times it's just OTT and needlessly long, especially when it's ONE person making a TWENTY MINUTE VIDEO about a trailer.

People do it for *everything*

I don't know why on Earth I would need to see Irish people watch Trailer Park Boys but it exists anyways

In my YT feed right now, I have people reacting to Wendy Williams fainting on her show - 14 minutes long.

A reaction video about Tyreese continuing to act disturbed that's 25 minutes long.

These are by charismatic people so I don't mind too much but "Teens know 00's music" Good for them?

I don't care for them myself either, I do enjoy seeing peoples reactions to something but only in person not in a 20 minute video. I think it's because I want to talk about what we liked about said thing rather than passively consuming someone else's opinion with no input.

I do admittedly watch the React channels 'try not to laugh' stuff but that's about it.

Reaction videos only work for me if it's a montage or a crowd of people. Watching one idiot hop around screaming just doesn't do it for me.

You could try just saying you've gotten pretty burnt out on reaction videos. That's less negative, and that way you don't need to come clean that you've hated them all along. Admittedly, your friends will probably still try to share them with you, but when they do, you can just reiterate that you're super burnt out on them, and hopefully they'll get the message and accept it.

Yeah, I was about to suggest this. It's not even a fun, really, since you ARE burned out on them.

I hate having to react to anything. Someone wanting me to react to reaction videos sounds dreadful.
