Scientology is such crap.

I'm not surprised that quite a few celebrities/actors/actresses have fallen for it since people in those occupations aren't educated well enough.

Well, also, they (Scientology) are con artists and manipulators. And they are fairly good at it.

Apparently, Scientology spends an asston of money pitching to celebs and keeping them in. If you're moderately famous, you get a very different experience.

Eh, there recruitment process is more important in keeping celebs in. They are required to like unburden themselves of all their sins. Which Scientology keeps a record of as blackmail.

Just because someone isn't well-educated doesn't mean they're unintelligent. Not that it matters, but most of the major actors I know of went to college anyways.

Also, as others have said, celebrities get treated differently and the whole package is presented in a much more enticing, ego-stroking way.
