I couldn't find any discount candy! I went to the grocery store and it was all gone, replaced by Christmas candy. Did everyone just beat me to it?

The turnaround on these things is lightning quick. I went to work at 8am this morning and the shop across from ours had already whipped out all their Halloween displays in the windows and replaced them with Christmas stuff. I swear they must have people doing this stuff overnight.

Honestly, I've not been able to snag any decent discount candy for any holiday for a while now. Stores here don't mark it off the day after, that's for sure. If they mark it off at all, it must go quickly because you don't see cheap post-holiday sales the way you used to.
