Okay! So, there's a lot of great stuff in there, but the big issue I see with it is that it isn't targeted toward a specific position. You have a lot of skills that can apply to a lot of different jobs, but if I were a hiring manager, my perception would be that there isn't a clear focus on the position that I'm trying to fill. Also, your work experience bullet points don't explicitly tie back to your qualifications.

Under what circumstances have you used Microsoft Office? What accomplishments of yours highlight your problem-solving and communication skills? What are some specific things you've done that demonstrate you can handle a fast pace? Maintaining a safe and clean work environment is great, but that doesn't tell me much about how you'll react to an administrative crisis; better to say that you're organized and can multi-task. Take those keywords from your Highlights section and find ways to weave them into your Experience. Also, since you've had a supervisory role, expound upon it and toss it into the Highlights, because that's big.

Beyond that, as much of a pain in the ass as it can be, tailor your resume to each position you apply for. Look at the things that they want, figure out how each of your jobs applies and how you can incorporate a keyword from the job description, and adjust accordingly. You want your experience bullet points to all fit into a single theme, if that makes sense.

Thanks for the advice. I've not been tailoring my resumes but I have been tailoring my cover letters. What is your opinion on resumes being more than one page?

These days, longer than one page is risky, because it's very unlikely someone will read to the second page. All of the pertinent info needs to be on the first page. On the plus side, there's a certain extent to which you can get away with playing around with text size and font.

But yeah, tailoring to the job is big, particularly since a lot of companies use bots to filter resumes. At a minimum, you've got to lift bits from the job description and splice them in.

I know this isn't your job, but I redid most of my resume. If you have time, could you give it another look? If not, that is perfectly fine!

I'm sorry I'm replying to this so late! I can definitely take a look for you if you'd like.

Oh wow, that's a lot stronger! It's much better at highlighting your achievements and what you're good at, particularly in the Warehouse Department Supervisor section.

My suggestion would be to go even further with it, and insert that style into every section (e.g. "leveraged multi-tasking ability to tackle a multi-line phone system. Assisted callers and exercised communication skills to involve appropriate departments"). If you can figure out a way to start every bullet point with a skill, and then link it to a task (as well as use all the HR buzzwords), you're golden.

Thanks! Yeah, I tried using as many buzzwords as I could find. I will continue to work on it.

I really, really appreciate the help.
