I loved Suzanne Collins before she wrote the Hunger Games. I really like the Underland Chronicles. They were so good in my opinion. I really didn't get into the Hunger Games and actually ended up actively disliking the series and movies. I felt they were just too dark and not for me, as well as having some issues with the writing and themes. Anyway I know tastes vary, but it was weird to find myself in the position of LOVING some things an author had written...and actually really disliking her most popular works! (Came to the opinion before they were huge, but them getting huge and being everywhere upped my dislike some, too.)

I know, right? Why couldn't they make a series of that? (I guess it would be too hard to animate all the giant talking rats?)
