I'm not into the image used in the secret - it's not squicking me out, but it's not doing anything for me either. But I do love OTT, impossible sex scenes where everything feels maddeningly good and nothing feels meh. Realistic smut just does nothing for me.

And when it comes to fanart, I definitely love it when the artists makes a point of exaggerating things a bit. Big, reddened cocks, super arched backs, hands fisted into the sheets, mouths gaping open - that kind of thing. Stuff that says, loud and clear: this feels really, really good for both parties.

However, I disagree with your generalization about PIV sex. Some people enjoy feeling "like they're being fucked inside out" but plenty of people don't enjoy that at all.
