Writing essays, even really small ones. I always got A's, the few times when I actually did manage to get through writing one, but I just...somehow I can't get my head around them and I've never been able to. Like, I can write just fine - well even - but as soon as you impose any sort of structure on the writing, my mind just completely grays out. Essay writing isn't even like writing to me. It's like a completely separate activity that also happens to involve the use of language.

Also, reading quickly. I can't. Everything above 250 wpm is just nonsense to me. I read challenging fiction. I read Ulysses, Gravity's Rainbow, Foucault's Pendulum. Tricky shit. I just read it all very, very slowly.
