The Digimon epilogue came out of nowhere for the pairings. I tend to ignore it mostly.

Yeah, same.
Since everybody knows that Takeru/Hikari, clearly that epilogue is nonsensical.

Exactly. They were destined for each other and the other pairings are irrelevant since they couldn't even get Hikari/Takeru right!

Um yes. TK and Kari are the one child pairing that are clearly fucking soul mates and will obviously be happily married when they get older. Anything else can go fuck itself.
