So there's this show that just started its new season recently. And I for some reason decided to watch this season despite the fact that I've only seen a handful of episodes from previous seasons, and never in order. But I've actually really been liking it so I decided to go back and watch from the beginning.

And now I'm shipping the most embarrassing pairing ever. I can't even type what it is because it just seems so horribly wrong and I feel fairly sure that I'm the only person who has ever shipped it ever.

Anyone else have any embarrassing fandomy things they want to share? Or just fandom thoughts in general?

I normally favor "cinnamon rolls" and uncontroversial ships. But in my new fandom, my favorite character is complete trash and I ship them in a dysfunctional relationship with another trash character. I haven't told anyone I like the character and ship at all because it's so "OOC" of me. I don't think my friends will judge me for having problematic taste, but I think I'll be judged for favoring that character based on physical appearance. They resemble a lot of my other unproblematic favorite characters. I'll even admit that's one of the reasons they are my favorite, which is a little embarrassing itself.

Sort of embarrassing and sad, I just have to admit that when Popular Fandom Thing is a big legit trigger for me, I just can't participate in fandom, not even casually. Two panic attacks in one week is ridiculous and I know if I told anyone about it they'd tell me to just avoid the fandom. So I should really take their hypothetical advice.

The latest, I sometimes post some fandom stuff to my instagram, I got a new follower, click on them to see if I should follow them back, and their latest post is triggery. Just... fuck my brain. Seriously.
